The STARRETT 65614 is a carbide-tipped hole saw designed for cutting through a range of hard and abrasive materials encountered in trade and construction work. With a 0.75 inch saw diameter and a cutting depth of 1.625 inches, it handles full-thickness cuts in panel goods, masonry substrates, and composite materials. The toothed cutting edge with a constant pitch pattern delivers consistent material removal and helps reduce chipping on exit. This saw is sold individually and does not include an arbor, so a compatible arbor must be sourced separately before installation.
The STARRETT 65614 is suited for contractors, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians who need to cut access holes or penetrations through non-metallic substrates. Rated material applications include fiberglass, Formica, masonry brick, MDF, plaster, and suspended floor panels. It is a practical choice for rough-in work, panel penetrations, and fixture installations where a clean, accurate hole is required in abrasive or composite materials.
Designed for use with materials including fiberglass, Formica, masonry brick, MDF, plaster, and suspended floor substrates. An arbor is not included and must be purchased separately to mount this saw in a drill or drill press.
Installation of this hole saw is performed by trade professionals using a compatible arbor and a corded or cordless drill or drill press. Confirm the arbor thread size matches the hole saw before use. Secure the workpiece firmly before cutting, and use appropriate eye and respiratory protection when cutting masonry or composite materials that generate dust. Follow all applicable OSHA and site safety guidelines when operating cutting tools.
