The STARRETT 62424 is an electronic drop indicator designed for high-precision dimensional measurement in metrology, machining, and quality control applications. Part of the W4900 Series and rated to AGD-4 standards, it combines a digital and analog display with a capacitive touch screen, giving technicians instant readout without sacrificing the familiar dial format. The indicator delivers a resolution of 0.00005 inches and an accuracy of 0.00005 inches over a 1-inch measuring range. The carbide contact point resists wear during repeated-contact gauging cycles. A rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery powers the unit, and the IP67 water and dust protection rating makes it suitable for demanding shop-floor environments.
