The 56960 ships in its pre-hardened annealed state, ready for machining, grinding, and final heat treating by the end user. Thickness and width tolerances are held to +0.0100 to +0.0150 inches, and length tolerance is +0.2500 inches. Squareness is controlled to 0.003 inches per inch on all edges, making this stock suitable for close-tolerance work.
