The STARRETT 54415 is an O1 oil-hardening tool steel flat stock bar used in toolmaking, die-making, and precision machining applications. Manufactured to AISI Type O1 material specification, this flat stock measures 3/8 inch thick, 3 inches wide, and 36 inches long, with a weight of 11.47 pounds. Tight dimensional tolerances — including a thickness tolerance of plus or minus 0.001 inches and a length tolerance of plus 0.015 inches — make it suitable for applications where dimensional accuracy is critical before and after heat treatment.
