The variable pitch tooth design, ranging from 2 to 3 teeth per inch, reduces harmonic vibration during cuts and helps prevent tooth stripping on irregular or variable cross-section workpieces. High speed steel teeth bonded to a flexible alloy back deliver the edge retention of HSS with the fatigue resistance of a flexible body. This blade is suited for cutting ferrous metals such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and structural shapes, as well as non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and copper. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with metal-cutting bandsaw equipment.
