The STARRETT 20636 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in fabrication and maintenance environments. Measuring 12 feet in length, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick, it runs on horizontal and vertical band saws commonly found in machine shops and industrial facilities. The blade features a variable pitch tooth pattern rated at 5 to 8 TPI, which reduces harmonic vibration and improves chip evacuation when cutting varying cross-sections of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. High speed steel teeth are electron-beam welded to a flexible alloy steel back, delivering extended tooth life under continuous cutting loads.
