The STARRETT 19575 is a welded carbon steel bandsaw blade from the Duratec SFB series, designed for continuous contour cutting on metal-cutting and general fabrication bandsaws. The blade runs 128 inches (10 feet 8 inches) long and 0.75 inches wide, with a constant 14 TPI pitch and a 0.032-inch thickness. The raker tooth set and straight tooth form deliver consistent chip clearance and a predictable cut on a range of workpiece materials. Licensed tradespeople and experienced fabricators install this blade on stationary bandsaw equipment in shop and job-site environments.
The 19575 is suited for cutting ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal, plastic, and plywood. Its constant pitch and straight rake angle make it a practical choice for general-purpose material removal rather than variable-pitch finishing work. The flexible back type allows the blade to run on standard wheel-driven bandsaw frames without excessive stress at the weld joint. Typical applications include structural steel fabrication shops, mechanical contractors cutting pipe and bar stock, and woodworking or composite-cutting operations requiring a single blade setup.
Designed as a welded-loop replacement blade for stationary bandsaws accepting a 128-inch blade length and 0.75-inch blade width. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and tension capacity on the host saw before installation.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician following the bandsaw manufacturer's service procedures. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before opening blade guards or handling the blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when uncoiling or threading the blade. Confirm blade tension, tracking, and guide bearing clearance before returning the machine to service.
