The STARRETT 16589 is a bi-metal welded bandsaw blade from the Intenss PRO-DIE series, designed for demanding contour and straight cutting applications on metal. The blade measures 92 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, with a thickness of 0.025 inches and a constant 4 TPI hook tooth profile. The cutting edge is ground from M42 high-speed steel teeth bonded to a flexible backing, making it well suited for production cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as metalworking tradespeople use blades of this type on stationary vertical or horizontal band saws.

This blade is built for cutting steel, stainless steel, exotic steel alloys, and non-ferrous metals.
