The STARRETT 16476 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade designed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals in industrial and fabrication environments. Part of the Intenss PRO series, it measures 10 feet 8.5 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 0.035 inches thick. The blade runs a variable pitch of 6 to 10 TPI with a raker tooth set and positive rake angle, delivering efficient chip clearance and reduced vibration across a range of material thicknesses. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as metal fabrication shops rely on this blade for production bandsaw work.
The 16476 is suited for straight-cut applications on ferrous metals such as structural steel, pipe, and bar stock, as well as non-ferrous materials including aluminum and copper. The bi-metal construction pairs a flexible alloy steel back with high speed steel teeth, making it a durable choice for continuous or high-cycle cutting on vertical and horizontal bandsaws. It is not rated for contour cutting. Typical users include metal fabricators, pipefitters, and maintenance machinists running production bandsaws in shop settings.

Do not exceed the bandsaw manufacturer's rated blade speed for the material being cut.
