The STARRETT 16309 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade from the Intenss PRO-DIE series, designed for demanding metal cutting applications in fabrication, tool and die, and maintenance shops. It measures 130 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, with a blade thickness of 0.025 inches. The M42 high speed steel tooth tips and variable pitch tooth pattern (14-18 TPI) reduce vibration and harmonics during cuts, extending blade life and improving surface finish on challenging materials. Licensed tradespeople and skilled fabricators are the primary installers of this blade.

This blade is suited for cutting steel, stainless steel, exotic steel, and non-ferrous metals on vertical or horizontal bandsaws.
