The STARRETT 15515 is a bi-metal welded bandsaw blade engineered for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals in professional shop and production environments. Built on the Intenss PRO series platform, it combines a flexible alloy steel back with M42 high-speed steel teeth for extended edge life under demanding cutting conditions. The blade measures 10 feet in length, 0.75 inches wide, and 0.035 inches thick. Variable pitch tooth spacing ranging from 6 to 10 TPI reduces harmonic vibration during cuts and helps prevent tooth stripping on workpieces with varying cross-sections. Raker tooth set and a positive rake angle work together to produce consistent chip evacuation. Installed by machinists and metal fabricators, this blade suits production-grade vertical and horizontal band saws.
The 15515 is sized for band saws with a 10-foot blade capacity and is appropriate for cutting a range of ferrous metals including mild steel, tool steel, and structural shapes, as well as non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper. The variable pitch design makes it effective across both solid bar stock and thin-walled tubing or structural profiles. It is well suited to job shop and maintenance environments where operators cut mixed material types without swapping blades. Contour cutting is not the intended application for this blade.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician following the band saw manufacturer's tensioning and tracking procedures.
