The STARRETT 15120 is a welded carbon steel bandsaw blade from the Duratec SFB series, designed for continuous cutting in metal fabrication, woodworking, and plastics applications. The blade measures 12 feet 6 inches in length and 3/4 inch in width, with a thickness of 0.032 inches and a constant 10 TPI pitch. A raker tooth set with a straight tooth form delivers consistent chip clearance and controlled cutting across a range of material thicknesses. The flexible back type allows the blade to track smoothly on standard two-wheel and three-wheel bandsaw configurations used in trade and light industrial shops.
This blade is suited for contour cutting operations on ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and plywood. It is a practical choice for HVAC fabricators, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, and general maintenance technicians who rely on a bandsaw for repetitive straight or contour cuts. The constant pitch pattern makes it predictable on both thin-wall tubing and solid stock within the appropriate feed rate range for 10 TPI blades. It is sold individually and packaged as a single blade ready for installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit welded bandsaw blade for standard bandsaws accepting a 12-foot 6-inch blade loop with a 3/4-inch width and 0.032-inch thickness.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician with the machine fully de-energized and locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify wheel diameter and blade guide clearance before mounting to confirm the 3/4-inch width and blade length are compatible with the saw. Inspect blade tension guides and thrust bearings for wear before installing a new blade. Do not operate the saw without blade guards in place and properly adjusted.
