The STARRETT 15090 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for continuous contour and straight cutting on metal-cutting bandsaws. It measures 122 inches long and 1/2 inch wide with a blade thickness of 0.035 inches. The variable pitch tooth pattern runs 6 to 10 TPI, reducing harmonic vibration and delivering smoother cuts across a range of material thicknesses. High speed steel M42 teeth are set in a raker pattern with a positive rake angle, providing aggressive chip clearance and extended edge life on demanding materials. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, fabricators, and metalworking professionals rely on this blade for daily production cutting.
The STARRETT 15090 is suited for cutting steel, stainless steel, exotic steel alloys, and non-ferrous metals. The Intenss PRO-DIE series is designed for job-site and shop environments where a wide variety of material types and cross-sections are encountered in a single workflow. The flexible back construction allows the blade to run continuously on standard metal-cutting bandsaw wheels without fatigue cracking during normal service life. It is packaged as a single welded loop ready to install.
Designed as a direct-fit welded replacement blade for metal-cutting bandsaws accepting a 122-inch by 1/2-inch blade. Compatible with materials including steel, stainless steel, exotic steel, and non-ferrous metal applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician following the bandsaw manufacturer's blade-change procedure. Power down and lock out the machine before opening blade guards or handling the blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when uncoiling and threading the blade through guides and wheels. Verify blade tension and guide alignment per the machine manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation.
