The STARRETT 14730 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications. Measuring 174 inches in length and 3/4 inch wide with a 0.035-inch thickness, this blade runs on standard vertical or horizontal bandsaws used in fabrication and machine shops. The M42 high speed steel tooth tips are joined to a flexible alloy steel back, giving the blade the toughness to handle interrupted cuts and hard spots. The variable pitch tooth pattern at 8 to 12 TPI reduces vibration and harmonic noise during the cut, extending both blade life and surface finish quality. A raker tooth set and positive rake angle promote aggressive, consistent chip clearance. Licensed trade professionals and machinists are the primary installers and users.

This blade is designed for contour-free, straight bandsaw cutting of structural steel in production and job-shop environments. Installation Notes
