The STARRETT 13819 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals in professional shop and industrial environments. It measures 14 feet 6 inches in length and 3/4 inch in width, with a blade thickness of 0.035 inches. The variable pitch tooth pattern ranges from 6 to 10 teeth per inch, reducing vibration and harmonic resonance during cuts. High speed steel teeth are set in a raker pattern with a positive rake angle, promoting aggressive, controlled material removal. Licensed machinists, millwrights, and metal fabricators are the primary installers and operators of this blade.
The 13819 is suited for contour-free straight cutting applications on ferrous metals such as structural steel, pipe, and bar stock, as well as non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and copper. The Intenss PRO series designation places this blade in a performance tier intended for production cutting environments where blade life and cut quality under continuous use are priorities. It ships as a single welded loop, ready to mount without further joining.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade blade for 14-foot 6-inch capacity metal-cutting bandsaw machines. Verify wheel diameter, blade guide spacing, and blade width capacity on the host saw before installation.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician. Disconnect and lock out electrical power to the bandsaw before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Confirm blade tracking, tension setting, and guide bearing clearance according to the saw manufacturer specifications before resuming operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the uncoiled blade loop.
