The STARRETT 10130 is a carbon steel band saw blade coil stock designed for continuous-length cutting applications in metal fabrication, maintenance shops, and production environments. The coil supplies 250 feet of 0.25-inch-wide blade stock at 0.025 inches thick, allowing shops to cut custom blade lengths to fit a wide range of band saw machines. The 18 teeth per inch (TPI) constant pitch with a wavy tooth set makes this blade well-suited for cutting thin-wall tubing, small-diameter stock, and sheet metal. The flexible back design reduces blade fatigue and resistance during curved or contour cuts.
This coil stock is intended for use in shops that weld their own band saw blades or supply service technicians who need to fabricate replacement blades on-site. The 18 TPI wavy set configuration is a standard choice for cutting thin ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a fine finish and reduced burring are priorities. Contour cutting capability makes the 0.25-inch width appropriate for radius work on vertical band saws. The 250-foot coil length provides enough stock for multiple blade fabrications before resupply is needed.
Designed as a weld-to-length coil stock for vertical band saws accepting 0.25-inch-wide blades with a 0.025-inch blade thickness.
Blade welding should be performed by a qualified technician using a band saw blade butt welder and grinder. Disengage and lock out the band saw before mounting any blade. Verify blade tension and tracking per the saw manufacturer specifications before operation. Straight tooth rake and wavy set blades perform best when matched to the material thickness range recommended for the TPI count in use.
