The STAR WATER SYSTEMS COND1 is a 1/6 HP condensate removal pump designed to transfer condensation away from air conditioners and HVAC systems. Built with a reinforced thermoplastic reservoir and housing, this pump moves up to 82 gallons per hour at 0 feet of head. A 3/8-inch discharge outlet with a built-in check valve prevents backflow, and an integrated safety switch shuts the unit off during power failures to protect the connected equipment. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers install this pump in both new construction and retrofit applications where gravity drainage is not available.
The COND1 is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC installations where condensate must be pumped to a remote drain location. Its two-quart reinforced thermoplastic reservoir holds enough condensate to handle typical air handler or mini-split output without frequent cycling. The compact design allows placement near the air handler, fan coil, or indoor unit wherever floor or shelf space is limited. This pump is appropriate for new installations and as a drop-in replacement in existing condensate removal setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install condensate removal pump for residential and light commercial air conditioners and HVAC systems requiring a pump-assisted drainage solution.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber. Power down and lock out the HVAC system before connecting or servicing the pump. Connect the 3/8-inch discharge line to a suitable drain point and verify the safety switch wiring is connected to the system control circuit to enable overflow shutoff protection. Follow applicable local mechanical codes and manufacturer wiring guidelines when integrating the safety switch into low-voltage control wiring.
