The STANLEY 15-630 is a bi-metal hacksaw blade designed for cutting metal pipe, conduit, strapping, and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials encountered in trade work. Measuring 12 inches in length with a tooth pitch of 32 teeth per inch (TPI), this blade delivers fine, controlled cuts suited for thin-walled tubing and sheet metal. The bi-metal construction bonds a high-speed steel tooth edge to a flexible alloy steel backing, giving the blade resistance to breakage under the flex and torque common in hand-saw use. Plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians keep this blade on hand for field cuts where a reciprocating saw is not practical.
This blade fits standard 12-inch hacksaw frames used in residential and commercial trade applications. The 32 TPI configuration is appropriate for thin-section materials where a coarser blade would strip or snag teeth. Typical uses include cutting copper tubing, EMT conduit, threaded rod, and light structural angle. Sold as a single blade per pack.
Designed as a replacement blade for standard 12-inch hacksaw frames used across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC trade applications.
Installation of this blade requires no special tools beyond the hacksaw frame itself. Ensure the blade is seated fully in both frame pins and tensioned per the frame manufacturer's guidance before use. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection when cutting. Dispose of worn blades safely to avoid laceration hazard.
