The STAHLIN REHPSERIES2 is a fiberglass hole plug assembly kit designed to seal unused conduit knockouts in electrical and instrument enclosures. The kit covers 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch conduit openings in holes up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Each plug uses a gasketed design to maintain a watertight seal rated to NEMA 4X/6P and IP66/IP68. Fiberglass construction resists corrosion, UV degradation, and the galvanic reactions that occur when dissimilar metals contact each other inside enclosures. Licensed electricians and instrument technicians install these plugs during new enclosure builds and field modifications.
The REHPSERIES2 kit is suited for use on electrical and instrument enclosures in industrial, commercial, and utility environments where corrosion resistance and long-term seal integrity are required. The gasketed fiberglass plugs perform reliably in outdoor, wet, and chemically aggressive locations where soft rubber plugs become brittle over time or carbon and stainless steel hardware is cost-prohibitive or prone to rust. The kit includes HP4, HP5, and HP6 plug configurations, covering the most common conduit entry sizes in a single purchase.
Designed for use on electrical and instrument enclosures requiring NEMA 4X/6P or IP66/IP68 rated hole sealing at 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch conduit knockout sizes with a 1.5-inch diameter hole opening.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or instrument technicians. De-energize the enclosure and follow applicable NFPA 70 (NEC) lockout/tagout procedures before opening any enclosure panel or installing plugs. Verify the knockout hole diameter matches the 1.5-inch specification before seating the plug to ensure the gasket compresses properly and the IP and NEMA ratings are maintained. Do not force plugs into undersized openings, as this can compromise the gasket seal.
