The STAHLIN REHPSERIES1 is a fiberglass hole plug assembly kit designed to seal unused conduit knockouts in electrical and instrument enclosures. The kit covers 1-inch diameter holes and accommodates conduit sizes of 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, and 3/4 inch. It is rated NEMA 4X/6P and carries IP66/IP68 ratings, making it suitable for wet, corrosive, and submersion-risk environments. The gasketed design maintains a watertight and dusttight seal. Licensed electricians and instrument technicians install this kit during new construction or enclosure retrofits where unused openings must be properly closed to maintain the enclosure's environmental rating.
This kit is used on electrical and instrument enclosures in industrial, commercial, and utility applications where corrosion resistance is critical. Fiberglass construction makes it well suited for chemical processing plants, wastewater facilities, marine environments, and outdoor installations where carbon steel or soft rubber plugs degrade over time. The kit includes HP1, HP2, and HP3 configurations, covering the most common knockout sizes encountered in field work. UL approval supports use in installations governed by the National Electrical Code.
Designed for use on electrical and instrument enclosures requiring NEMA 4X/6P or IP66/IP68 rated hole sealing at 1-inch diameter knockouts accommodating conduit sizes of 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, and 3/4 inch.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or instrumentation technicians. De-energize all circuits and verify power is off before opening any enclosure or handling knockouts. Ensure the knockout opening and mating surface are clean and free of burrs before seating the gasketed plug to achieve a proper environmental seal. Completed installations in classified or listed enclosures should be verified to confirm the full NEMA or IP rating is maintained per applicable NEC requirements.
