The SQUARE D VCCD1 is a fused, enclosed cam disconnect switch rated for 690 volts AC service. It is a 3-pole device with a 3NO contact form, designed to provide a visible means of disconnect and overcurrent protection in industrial electrical distribution systems. The switch ships with a handle and shaft extension included. At 0.81 pounds, it is compact enough for panel or enclosure integration. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this device. The dual ingress protection ratings of IP20 and IP65 make it suitable for both standard and wash-down-adjacent environments.
The VCCD1 is intended for industrial and commercial electrical applications where a fused cam-style disconnect is required. Its NEMA 1 and NEMA 12 ratings cover general-purpose indoor use as well as protection against dust and dripping non-corrosive liquids. The switch is engineered to IEC 60947-3 standards and carries both UL and CSA certifications, making it appropriate for North American and international installations.
