The SQUARE D SQDHOM24L70S is a single-phase Homeline load center designed for residential and light industrial electrical distribution. Rated at 70A with a 120/240 VAC fixed main lug configuration, it provides 2 spaces and 4 circuits in a NEMA 1 surface-mount enclosure. The unit carries a 10 kA interrupting capacity and accepts Homeline circuit breakers, ground fault circuit breakers, and arc fault interrupters. Box lug terminations accept 14 AWG to 4 AWG copper or 12 AWG to 3 AWG aluminum conductors. UL Listed for compliance with standard electrical safety requirements. Licensed electricians install this load center as a sub-panel or main distribution point in indoor applications.
This load center is suited for residential service panels, light commercial sub-panel installations, and industrial auxiliary distribution where a compact, fixed main lug panel is required. The NEMA 1 rating restricts installation to indoor, dry locations. The surface-cover design simplifies rough-in work in finished spaces where a flush mount is not practical. Its support for a full complement of Homeline accessories makes it adaptable to a range of circuit protection configurations, including GFCI and AFCI breaker applications where code requires them.
Designed for use with Homeline circuit breakers, ground fault circuit breakers, and arc fault circuit interrupters. Supports the full Homeline accessory line for residential and light industrial electrical distribution systems.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. Disconnect and verify that all upstream power sources are de-energized before beginning termination work. The NEMA 1 enclosure is rated for indoor dry locations only — do not install in wet or damp environments. Verify that conductor sizing matches the lug wire range specifications before making terminations.
