The SQUARE D QGA222002 is a 2-pole, plug-in molded case circuit breaker rated for 200 amps at 240 volts AC. It uses a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism to protect branch circuits and feeder circuits from overloads and short-circuit faults. With a breaking capacity of 65 kA at 240 VAC, this breaker is built for high-fault-current environments common in commercial and industrial electrical distribution panels. Terminal connections include I-Line and lug options, giving installers flexibility in how conductors are terminated. Electricians installing or replacing breakers in compatible Square D panelboards will find the plug-in design straightforward for panel integration.
This breaker is suited for use in commercial and industrial applications where high interrupting capacity is required. It is appropriate for feeder protection, branch circuit protection, and service entrance equipment where fault current levels demand a 65 kA-rated device. The I-Line and lug terminal connection types support a range of conductor configurations. Wire sizing is appropriate for 4 AWG conductors per the product specification. This unit ships as a single breaker.
Designed for use in Square D I-Line compatible panelboards and switchboards that accept plug-in molded case circuit breakers with I-Line or lug terminal connections.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panelboard before installing or removing this breaker. Verify that the panel bus rating and fault current available at the installation point do not exceed the breaker's rated breaking capacity. Confirm conductor sizing meets NEC requirements for a 200-amp circuit before terminating at the lug or I-Line connection.
