The SQUARE D BY SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC HOM24L70SCP is a 70-amp main lug load center designed for surface mount installation in single-phase electrical distribution applications. It provides 2 spaces for circuit breakers and supports up to 4 single-pole Homeline circuit breakers. The load center ships with a solid neutral bar and cover included, and is rated for 120/240 volts single phase. This unit is listed for use as a service entrance device and is intended for installation by a licensed electrician working under applicable NEC guidelines. A ground bar kit, part number PK3GTA-1, is required separately for grounding applications.
This load center is suited for residential or light commercial sub-panel and service entrance applications where space is limited and a compact, surface-mounted enclosure is required. The 2-space, 4 single-pole configuration makes it appropriate for small branch circuit distributions such as outbuildings, garages, workshops, pool equipment panels, or supplemental circuits fed from a main panel. It accepts Homeline series circuit breakers, keeping the installation within a single, compatible breaker family.
Designed for use with Homeline series circuit breakers. Rated for use as a service entrance device at 120/240 volts single phase. Ground bar PK3GTA-1 is the specified accessory for grounding when required.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the supply conductors and verify absence of voltage before making any lug connections. The main lugs do not include an integral disconnect, so upstream overcurrent protection must be provided per NEC requirements. If a ground bar is required, order and install the PK3GTA-1 ground bar kit before energizing the panel.
