Square D HGL36000S15 is a 600 Volt, 150 Amp Automatic Molded Case Switch. This switch acts as a disconnect device. It is suited for opening or closing a circuit during normal operation. The design is similar to the H-Frame circuit breaker. It shares accessories and connection possibilities with that version. The factory set trip point is non-adjustable and protects the molded case switch. It is capable of making and breaking its rated current. For overloads or short circuits, it requires upstream protection. The PowerPacT H-Frame switches are offered in various mounting styles such as unit mount and plug-in. This particular model is a unit mount type with lugs available on both sides. The switch has a short circuit withstand current rating of 18kA at 600VAC. Compliant with UL and CSA standards.
