The SQUARE D HDL26100 is a 2-pole, panel mount molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 amps at 600 VAC and 250 VDC. It uses a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism to protect circuits from both sustained overloads and short-circuit faults. The breaker accepts wire sizes from 14 AWG through 3/0 AWG via lug-style terminals and carries multiple breaking capacity ratings for flexible application across various fault-current environments. Electricians and electrical contractors install this breaker in panelboards and switchboards where robust overcurrent protection is required. Certifications include UL listing, CSA, CE, and IEC compliance.
The HDL26100 is suited for commercial and industrial electrical distribution panels operating at up to 600 VAC or 250 VDC. Its 2-pole configuration makes it appropriate for 240-volt branch circuits or main feeder applications. The wide wire range of 14 through 3/0 AWG accommodates both light branch circuit conductors and heavier feeder conductors, giving installers flexibility during rough-in and retrofit work. This breaker is a common choice in manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, and utility rooms where panel space and high fault-current ratings are a priority.
Designed as an OEM-style panel mount molded case circuit breaker for commercial and industrial panelboard and switchboard applications requiring a 2-pole, 100-amp, 600 VAC thermal-magnetic breaker.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before installing or replacing any circuit breaker. Verify that conductor sizing, terminal torque specifications per the breaker manufacturer labeling, and enclosure ratings are appropriate for the application before energizing. Do not exceed the breaker's published voltage or amperage ratings.
