The SQUARE D HDA36060 is a 3-pole, plug-in molded case circuit breaker rated for 60 amps at 600 VAC. It uses a thermal-magnetic tripping mechanism to provide reliable overload and short-circuit protection in industrial and commercial power distribution systems. The breaker accepts wire sizes from 14 AWG through 3/0 AWG, making it compatible with a range of feeder and branch-circuit applications. Multiple breaking capacity ratings give this unit flexibility across different fault-current environments. Licensed electricians install this breaker in panelboards and switchboards designed for I-Line or lug-style plug-in mounting configurations.
The HDA36060 is suited for commercial and industrial power distribution panels where 3-phase branch or feeder circuit protection is required. Its I-Line and lug terminal connection types accommodate common panelboard designs found in manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, and heavy-duty service equipment. The plug-in mounting style simplifies installation and replacement in compatible enclosures. This breaker is appropriate for applications requiring a robust, field-replaceable overcurrent protective device within a 600 VAC system.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement molded case circuit breaker for 600 VAC, 3-pole plug-in panelboard applications supporting I-Line or lug-style mounting.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panelboard or switchboard before removing or installing the breaker. Verify that conductor sizing and torque requirements comply with the panel manufacturer specifications and NEC Table 310 ampacity requirements. Do not exceed the breaker rated voltage or amperage for the circuit being protected.
