The Square D brand Heavy Duty Safety Switch H368NR is effective in tough conditions. It is designed for use in commercial, institutional, industrial, and manufacturing facilities. The F Series switches exceed mechanical endurance standards beyond NEMA Type KS-1 or UL98. A feature of the F-Series is its life design, lasting a minimum of three times the NEMA requirement.
Copper is used extensively in all current-carrying paths to reduce temperature rise, enhancing durability and service life. This Single Throw Safety Switch operates at a rated current of 1200 Amps and has a NEMA 3R rating for outdoor protection. The switch can handle a short circuit rating of 200kA at 600VAC/DC and includes a factory-installed neutral.
The enclosure is made of galvannealed steel and mounts on surfaces. This switch is compatible with L fuses and accepts wire gauges AWG 3/0 to 750 kcmil, whether copper or aluminum. The tightening torque specification is from 375 to 375 lbf.in. It complies with UL listed file E2875 standards and includes an 18-month warranty. Product dimensions are sixty-nine inches in height, thirty-six inches in width, and seventeen point seventy-five inches in depth.
