The SQUARE D 9012GDW1 is an electromechanical pressure and level switch designed for industrial and commercial control applications. It monitors system pressure and switches a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) output when pressure crosses the set point. The operating range spans 0.2 to 10 psi with a fixed differential, making it well suited for low-pressure sensing tasks such as air, gas, or liquid level control. Rated for 120 VAC at 6 amps and 240 VAC at 3 amps, it handles standard control-circuit voltages without an interposing relay. Licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers for this device.
This switch is intended for use with the 9012G series enclosure and control assemblies in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Its NEMA 4, 4X, and 13 ratings qualify it for indoor and outdoor installations where dust-tight and watertight protection are required, including washdown and corrosive-atmosphere environments. The screw-terminal, 0.25 inch connector interface simplifies field wiring. It is also rated for vibration-resistant service, suitable for installations on or near mechanical equipment with continuous vibration exposure.
