The SQUARE D 9007MS10S0300 is a general purpose limit switch rated for SPDT contact form with a normally closed (NC) contact configuration. It uses a booted plunger actuator mounted at the top of the metal body, and comes prewired for straightforward field installation. Rated IP67 for dust-tight and temporary submersion protection, this switch is built for demanding industrial and commercial environments. It operates across a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 220 degrees F, making it suitable for both cold storage and high-heat applications. Electricians and automation technicians install this switch as a position-sensing or end-of-travel detection device in machinery, conveyor systems, and mechanical controls.
This limit switch is used in industrial control panels, automated machinery, conveyor systems, and similar electromechanical applications where reliable position detection is required. Its NEMA ratings of 1, 2, 4, 6, and 6P make it appropriate for general indoor use as well as wet, washdown, and submersible location classifications. The prewired terminal type simplifies integration into existing control circuits without the need for additional wiring hardware at the switch body.
Designed as an OEM-style or replacement general purpose limit switch for industrial control and automation applications requiring a top-actuated booted plunger SPDT limit switch with prewired termination.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the control circuit before mounting or wiring the switch. Verify actuator alignment and travel distance against machine specifications before securing the switch body. Do not exceed the maximum operating force of 80 ounces on the actuator during normal machine operation.
