The SQUARE D 9007MS02S0200 is a general-purpose limit switch with a single-pole double-throw (SPDT), normally closed (NC) contact configuration. It uses a parallel roller plunger actuator mounted at the top of the metal body, and comes prewired for faster installation. The switch is rated IP67 for dust-tight and temporary submersion protection, making it suitable for demanding industrial and mechanical applications. It operates across a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 220 degrees F and handles a maximum operating force of 80 ounces. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this device.
This limit switch is designed for general-purpose position sensing and machine control applications where reliable SPDT switching is required. The top-mounted parallel roller plunger actuator is well-suited for detecting linear or reciprocating motion on conveyors, presses, gates, and similar equipment. The prewired terminal configuration reduces field wiring time. NEMA ratings of 1, 2, 4, 6, and 6P cover indoor, outdoor, watertight, and submersible enclosure environments, expanding the range of viable installation locations.
Designed as an OEM-style general-purpose limit switch for industrial machine control and position sensing applications where an SPDT, NC, top-mounted parallel roller plunger switch with IP67 and NEMA 4/6/6P ratings is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the equipment before mounting or wiring the switch. Verify actuator alignment with the moving target before final mounting to ensure consistent actuation force and contact engagement. Do not exceed the rated maximum operating force of 80 ounces during actuation.
