The Square D 8965DPR23V14 Reversing Hoist Contactor is designed for use in controlling hoists, overhead doors, small elevators, and commercial laundry equipment. This reversing contactor can handle short-duty operations, efficiently performing during the jogging cycles typical in hoist applications. It features a three-pole configuration with motor ratings of up to two horsepower at one hundred fifteen volts alternating current (VAC) and three horsepower at two hundred thirty VAC for single-phase systems. In polyphase configurations, it can be rated for five horsepower at two hundred thirty VAC and ten horsepower at four hundred sixty and five hundred seventy-five VAC.
