The SPYDER 600914CF is a 3-1/2 inch carbide-tipped Tarantula hole saw engineered for cutting through demanding materials that standard bi-metal saws cannot handle efficiently. Tungsten carbide teeth deliver up to 50 times more cuts than conventional bi-metal hole saws and cut up to 10 times faster through tough substrates. The saw is compatible with the Rapid Core Eject (RCE) arbor system, which allows the user to eject the cut core, swap diameters, cut at an angle, and enlarge existing holes without stopping work. Designed for use with standard rotary drills only — not for use in hammer drill mode.
This hole saw is suited for trade professionals including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors who regularly cut through mixed or hard materials on the job. Its 3-1/2 inch diameter and up to 2-3/8 inch depth of cut make it a practical choice for rough-in work, panel knockouts, and fixture installations in both residential and light commercial applications. The carbide-tipped design is particularly valuable on jobs where nail-embedded wood or fiber cement board is encountered.
Designed for use with the SPYDER Rapid Core Eject (RCE) arbor system. Fits standard rotary drills. Suitable for cutting drywall, wood, PVC, mineral fiber, metal, and fiberglass.
Installation and cutting should be performed by a qualified trade professional following applicable safety standards. Disconnect or de-energize the work area before cutting near electrical components. Secure the workpiece before beginning the cut and apply consistent, moderate feed pressure — do not force the saw. This tool is not rated for hammer drill mode and should never be used in that setting.
