The Sporlan 169368 is a brass Type R thermal expansion valve designed for R-22 refrigerant systems, offering a 2-ton capacity. It features 3/8 inch x 1/2 inch SAE connections and a 5 ft. capillary length. This valve regulates refrigerant flow by maintaining a nearly constant superheat at the evaporator outlet, suitable for air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration applications. It includes a 1/4 inch SAE external equalizer connection.

  • Replaceable thermostatic element with grey epoxy coating.
  • 100 mesh inlet strainer integral to fitting.
