The Sporlan 169217 Type ER thermal expansion valve (TXV) is a 1 ton, externally equalized valve designed for R-404A refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It features 3/8 in. x 1/2 in. ODF connections with a 5 ft. capillary, a replaceable thermostatic element, and a 50-mesh insertable removable strainer. Construction includes an orange brass body, brass pin carrier and seat, and stainless steel pin and push rod, rated to 450 psi.
