The SPI MS677104D is a large-range electronic caliper designed for precision linear measurement in shop, field, and inspection environments. It covers a full measurement range of 0 to 24 inches (0 to 600 mm) with a resolution of 0.0005 inches (0.0100 mm) and an accuracy of 0.0030 inches (0.03 mm). The caliper body and jaws are constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life. A NIST traceability certificate with short-form calibration documentation is included, making this unit suitable for quality-controlled environments where documented measurement traceability is required. Machinists, pipe trades professionals, fabricators, and quality technicians are the primary users.
This caliper is suited for large-scale dimensional measurement tasks in manufacturing, HVAC fabrication, plumbing, structural, and general trade applications where a standard 6- or 12-inch caliper cannot reach. The 3.94-inch jaw length accommodates deep-reach outside measurements. Data output capability via SPC cable or wireless transmitter allows direct integration with statistical process control software or digital readout systems, making it practical for production inspection workflows where manual transcription errors must be eliminated.
Data output port is compatible with SPC cable or wireless transmitter accessories. Designed for use as a large-range precision caliper in trade, fabrication, and inspection applications requiring NIST-traceable documentation.
No permanent installation is required for this handheld measurement tool. Before use in calibration-sensitive applications, verify the included NIST traceability certificate meets the documentation requirements of your quality system. Replace the CR2032 battery when the low-battery indicator activates to maintain measurement accuracy. Store the caliper in its protective case when not in use to prevent damage to the jaw surfaces and measuring faces.
