The SPI MS220708250 is a large-range electronic caliper designed for precise dimensional measurement in shop, fabrication, and quality-control environments. Built with a stainless steel beam and stainless steel jaws, this caliper measures up to 24 inches with SPC (Statistical Process Control) data output, making it well suited for process monitoring and data-logging applications. The double-jaw design handles both outside and inside diameter measurements up to 24 inches, while the fine-adjustment wheel allows controlled, repeatable positioning. Power comes from a single CR2032 lithium battery, which is included. The tool ships in a protective plastic box.
This caliper is intended for use by machinists, quality technicians, fabricators, and metrology staff who need a large-capacity precision measuring tool. The SPC output port allows direct connection to compatible data acquisition systems, supporting in-process inspection and statistical analysis workflows. The fine-adjustment wheel is particularly useful when measuring large workpieces where controlled jaw movement reduces positioning error. The 3.9375-inch jaw length provides adequate reach for most large-diameter workpieces commonly encountered in industrial and heavy fabrication settings.
Designed as a large-range electronic caliper for general industrial metrology, quality control, and precision measurement applications where SPC data output and a 24-inch range are required.
Electronic calipers require no installation but should be handled and stored by qualified metrology or shop personnel following the tool manufacturer guidelines. Before use, verify the battery is seated correctly and zero the caliper on a clean, burr-free reference surface. Keep the measuring surfaces and beam free of chips, coolant, and debris to maintain accuracy. Store in the included plastic box when not in use to protect the beam and jaw surfaces.
