The SPI CMS220623061 is a 3-point contact electronic inside micrometer designed for precision internal bore measurement in machining, metrology, and quality-control applications. It measures from 1.0000 to 1.2000 inches (25.00 to 30.00 mm) with a resolution of 0.00005 inches (0.001 mm) and an accuracy of +/- 0.0002 inches (0.004 mm). The measuring faces are carbide-tipped for durability. Built-in wireless data transmission allows readings to be sent directly to compatible data-collection systems, streamlining inspection workflows. The unit ships calibrated with a traceability certification included. It is installed and operated by machinists, metrologists, and quality technicians working to ASME B89.1.13 standards.
This inside micrometer is suited for measuring bore diameters in precision machined components, engine cylinders, hydraulic housings, and similar tight-tolerance internal features. The extension rod extends reach up to 3-1/2 inches, enabling measurements near the bottom of blind holes. The 330-degree rotating display allows the operator to read measurement data from multiple angles without repositioning. IP65-rated ingress protection makes it appropriate for use in shop environments where coolant or debris exposure is a concern.
Designed as an OEM-style precision measurement tool for bore diameters from 1.0000 to 1.2000 inches (25.00 to 30.00 mm); compatible with data-output receivers and SPC systems that accept wireless micrometer transmission signals conforming to standard digital metrology protocols.
This instrument is operated by qualified machinists or metrologists; no permanent installation is required. Before use, zero and calibrate the micrometer using the included 25.00 mm setting ring following the manufacturer procedure. Ensure the bore and instrument are at a stable ambient temperature before taking measurements to avoid thermal expansion error. Do not exceed the stated measurement range or apply force beyond normal gauging pressure, as this can damage the carbide measuring faces or the spindle mechanism.
