It delivers a measuring range of 0 to 1 inch with a graduation of 0.0001 inch and a stated accuracy of 0.0001 inch, making it appropriate for quality-control and inspection work where tight tolerances matter. The A-style anvil and ratchet stop thimble provide consistent seating and repeatable spindle pressure across measurements. Both the anvil and spindle contact faces are carbide-tipped to resist wear during regular production use. The instrument ships calibrated and includes a short-form certificate of calibration.
