The SPI 34-508-2 is a No Go threaded ring gage designed to inspect M22 x 1.50 metric external threads to Class 6G tolerance standards. Used as part of a go/no-go verification process, this single-ring gage confirms that a threaded workpiece does not exceed the maximum material condition limit. Manufactured from Oil Hardened Non-Shrinking Steel (OHNS), the gage maintains dimensional stability under shop conditions. An NPL Traceability Certification is included, supporting quality management documentation and audit requirements. This tool is used by machinists, quality technicians, and inspection personnel in precision manufacturing and metrology environments.
This gage is suited for production and incoming inspection of metric fasteners, threaded fittings, and machined components with M22 x 1.50 external threads. It is a single-ring design used specifically for the No Go check in a two-gage thread inspection set. Class 6G is a standard tolerance class for metric external threads used in general-purpose commercial and industrial fastening applications. Shops requiring documented traceability for ISO or AS9100 audits will find the included NPL certification directly usable without additional calibration documentation at incoming inspection.
Designed for inspection of M22 x 1.50 metric external threads classified to Class 6G tolerance. Intended for use with a matching Go ring gage to complete a full two-gage thread inspection process.
Threaded ring gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists and do not require installation in a mechanical system. Store the gage in a clean, dry environment and apply a light coat of oil when not in use to prevent corrosion. Do not force the No Go gage onto a thread; if it engages fully, the part is out of tolerance and should be rejected. Periodic recalibration against a master setting plug is recommended to maintain accuracy over time.
