The SPI 34-494-5 is a single-ring threaded ring gage used to verify external thread dimensional conformance on M14 x 2.00 metric fasteners and threaded components. Classified as a No Go gage to Class 6G tolerance, it checks the maximum material condition of the thread form. A correctly machined thread should not fully enter this gage. Manufactured from Oil Hardened Non-Shrinking Steel (OHNS), the gage maintains dimensional stability through repeated use.
