The SPI 34-467-1 is a single-ring threaded ring gage designed to verify the dimensional accuracy of external M3.5 x 0.60 metric threads to Class 6G tolerance. This is the Go member of a Go/No-Go gage pair, meaning it confirms that a threaded workpiece meets the minimum material condition required for proper fit and function. Manufactured from Oil Hardened Non-Shrinking Steel (OHNS), this gage delivers the hardness and dimensional stability required for repeated use in production and inspection environments. It is used by machinists, quality technicians, and metrology professionals on the shop floor or in the inspection lab.
The 34-467-1 is suited for incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final inspection of metric-threaded fasteners, fittings, and machined components with M3.5 x 0.60 external threads. Class 6G is the standard tolerance class for general-purpose metric external threads, making this gage applicable across a broad range of manufacturing and assembly operations. A National Physical Laboratory (NPL) traceability certification is included with each unit, supporting documentation requirements for ISO-compliant quality management systems.
Designed for use with external M3.5 x 0.60 metric threads manufactured to Class 6G tolerance. Intended for use as a Go-side gage in a standard Go/No-Go thread inspection procedure.
Thread ring gages are inspection tools, not installation hardware. Gages should be applied by hand with no power tools or forced engagement. Store gages in a clean, dry environment and apply a light coat of protective oil when not in use to prevent corrosion and maintain calibration integrity. Recalibrate or recertify at intervals appropriate to your quality management system and frequency of use.
