The SPI 34-419-2 is a double-end plug thread gage designed to inspect 3/4-16 UNF internal threads to 2B tolerance class. One end carries the Go member; the other carries the No Go member, allowing a technician to verify both the minimum and maximum thread form in a single tool. The gage is made from steel and ships with a size 3 handle included. A NIST-traceable calibration certificate is included, making this gage suitable for documented quality control and inspection programs in machining, manufacturing, and mechanical assembly environments.
This gage is used wherever 3/4-16 UNF threaded holes must be verified to 2B class fit specifications. Typical applications include incoming inspection of machined parts, in-process thread verification on the shop floor, and final QC checks before assembly. The double-end configuration reduces handling time compared to single-end gages, and the included handle provides a consistent grip for repeatable results across multiple operators.
Designed for inspection of 3/4-16 UNF internal threaded holes conforming to 2B class tolerance requirements.
Thread gages are inspection tools and do not require permanent installation. Handle and gage members should be kept clean and free of chips or cutting fluid before use to prevent false readings. Store in a protective case away from temperature extremes to preserve calibration. Consult the included NIST traceability documentation for recalibration intervals appropriate to your quality management system.
