The SPI 34-368-1 is a double-end plug thread gage used to verify internal threads to the 10-24 unified coarse thread standard. One end carries the Go member and the other carries the No Go member, allowing a technician to confirm both the minimum and maximum material conditions in a single tool. The gage is classified to 3B tolerance, which applies to standard-fit internal threads used across general mechanical assembly. A handle is included. The body is steel construction. The SPI 34-368-1 is suited for incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final quality checks on tapped holes requiring a 10-24 thread form. This gage is used by quality control inspectors and machinists — not installed in a system. Before use, clean the tapped hole and gage members to remove chips, coolant, or debris that could affect the reading. Apply light hand pressure only when advancing the Go member; forcing the gage can damage the thread form or the gage itself. Do not use power tools to drive a thread gage.
