The SPI 34-326-9 is a single-end No Go plug thread gage designed to inspect 7/8-14 unified fine internal threads to 6H tolerance class. Machined from steel, this gage checks that a threaded hole has not been cut oversized or out of tolerance, rejecting any feature that allows the No Go member to pass. It is used at the point of manufacture or incoming inspection to verify conformance to ANSI thread standards. The gage is supplied with NIST-traceable certification, making it suitable for quality-controlled production environments. A size 4 handle is required for operation and is sold separately.
This gage is suited for use in precision machining shops, aerospace, automotive, and general manufacturing environments where 7/8-14 UNF internal thread inspection is required. Inspectors and machinists use it at CNC machining centers, assembly lines, or incoming inspection stations to screen parts before they advance in the production process. Its single-end No Go configuration keeps it dedicated to one function, reducing the risk of operator error during high-volume inspection runs.
Designed for inspection of 7/8-14 UNF internal threads to 6H class tolerance. Requires a size 4 plug gage handle, sold separately.
Thread gages are installed and used by quality technicians and machinists following standard inspection procedures. Before use, clean the threaded bore and gage member to remove chips, coolant, and debris that could produce false readings. Do not force the No Go member into a thread — hand pressure only. Store the gage in its case when not in use to protect the precision ground surfaces from damage.
