The SPI 30-915-3 is a 36-piece steel gage block set covering a measurement range of 0.05 to 4 inches and manufactured to AS-1 accuracy grade per ASME B89.1.9-2002. Each block in the set is individually serialized and comes with certification, meeting the documentation requirements common in calibration labs, machine shops, and quality control environments. The set provides three tiers of step increments - 0.0001 inch, 0.001 inch, and 0.010 inch - giving technicians the resolution needed to qualify gauges, check tooling, and verify part dimensions with traceable standards. Total set weight is 3.2 pounds.
This gage block set is suited for use in precision measurement applications across industrial, manufacturing, and metrology environments. Typical users include tool-and-die technicians, quality inspectors, calibration technicians, and machinists who need a reliable reference standard for setting comparators, verifying measuring instruments, or establishing dimensional baselines. The set includes blocks in the following configurations: one 0.050 inch block, three whole-inch blocks (1, 2, and 4 inches), five blocks from 0.100 to 0.500 inches in 0.100 inch steps, nine blocks from 0.1001 to 0.1009 inches in 0.0001 inch steps, nine blocks from 0.101 to 0.109 inches in 0.001 inch steps, and nine blocks from 0.110 to 0.190 inches in 0.010 inch steps.
Designed as a general-purpose precision reference standard for use with comparators, height gauges, and other measuring instruments requiring traceable gage block references in industrial and metrology applications.
Gage blocks should be handled by calibration or quality technicians following standard metrology practices. Keep blocks clean and lightly oiled when stored to prevent corrosion. Wring blocks together on a clean, flat surface free of burrs or debris. Return to the case after use and store away from magnetic fields and extreme temperature changes that could affect dimensional stability.
