This plug gage is appropriate for use in machine shops, tool rooms, and manufacturing facilities performing dimensional verification of drilled, reamed, or bored holes at 0.353 inches nominal diameter. Plug gages are handled by quality technicians and machinists and do not require power or mechanical installation. Store the gage in a clean, dry location away from cutting fluids and abrasives to preserve the gage surface and tolerance integrity. Handle with clean, dry hands or lint-free gloves to prevent corrosion from skin oils. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this can damage the gage surface and invalidate its calibration.
