The SPI 19-121-3 is a Class ZZ minus plug pin gage designed for precision hole and bore inspection in industrial and manufacturing environments. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.1210 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, conforming to the minus tolerance convention where the gage dimension falls below the nominal value. Machined from steel for durability and dimensional stability, this pin gage is used to verify that a drilled, reamed, or punched hole meets the lower acceptable limit of a specified tolerance range. Quality technicians, toolmakers, and inspection professionals use Class ZZ gages for general-purpose go/no-go gauging applications.
This pin gage is suited for incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final inspection tasks on production floors, machine shops, and fabrication facilities. It is appropriate for both light manufacturing and precision machining environments where tight hole tolerances must be verified quickly and reliably. The small diameter of 0.1210 inches makes it well suited for inspecting small-bore holes common in precision components, printed circuit board assemblies, and fine-tolerance machined parts. Installation and use require no special tools beyond standard gage handling practices.
Designed as an OEM-style Class ZZ minus plug pin gage for use in standard pin gage handle sets and standalone inspection applications requiring a 0.1210 inch nominal diameter measurement.
Pin gages should be handled with clean, dry hands or lint-free gloves to prevent corrosion and dimensional contamination. Store in a protective case away from heat sources and abrasive materials when not in use. Inspect the gage surface for nicks or burrs before use, as surface damage will produce false readings. Calibration and use should follow applicable ASME B89 dimensional measurement standards.
