Spears 447-015 is a 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC socket cap designed to close or seal the end of 1-1/2" nominal Schedule 40 PVC pipe using a socket (slip) connection. The molded PVC fitting has approximately 0.145 inch wall thickness, a length near 2-1/4 inches, and a temperature rating of 140 deg F. It meets ASTM D2466/D1784 and ANSI/NSF 372 for potable water applications.
