Spears 435-005 is a 1/2-inch Schedule 40 PVC female adapter that connects a socket (slip) joint to a female pipe thread (FPT). The fitting is molded from PVC for corrosion resistance and is suitable for potable water and drainage systems. Conforms to common PVC standards and supports solvent-weld installation on the socket end with a threaded female connection on the other end.
